For Geneva residents, there are plenty of choices for Fourth of July fireworks.

Neighbors St. Charles and Batavia have excellent displays that tip off around 9:30 p.m.

For a Geneva fireworks experience, the Kane County Cougars host a grand show on July 4 as well as the balance of the homestand.

The Cougars will light up the skies for post-game fireworks shows on July 4, 5 and 6. Both July 4 and July 6 will feature a patriotic-themed fireworks show and Cougars Facebook fans will determine the winning fireworks theme for July 5!

In Batavia, the pyrotechnics are placed on the Mooseheart field, generously offered by the “Child City.”  The audience is invited to watch from Engstrom Park at the corner of Millview Drive and West Main Street. There is additional audience space on the Batavia High School athletic fields on West Main Street.

In St. Charles, Pottawatomie Park will open at 8 a.m. on July 4, and picnic tables will be available first-come, first-served. Those wishing to celebrate the holiday at the park should bring their own tables, blankets and lawn chairs.
