Viewfinder: Viking Girls Basketball Players Hone Their Skills in Summer League Competition

Summer league helps prepare Geneva players for another season of excellence.

The road to winter excellence in basketball starts in the sometimes hot and muggy summer basketball league held at Glenbard South.

Twenty area teams participate in the league, which gives basketball hopefuls a chance to practice their game skills and for underclassmen, a chance to experience the fast pace of a varsity game.
