Sophs Take a Shellacking From Wheaton North
It was 31-0 at the half, and the Falcons coast to an easy 45-6 win. Vikings are 1-1, with the Upstate Eight season about to begin.
Wheaton North's sophomore football team looks very strong, to say the least.
The Falcons mixed a powerful passing and running attack to pretty much hand the Vikings their hats Friday, coasting to a 45-6 win at Geneva.
The home-game loss will be a teaching opportunity for coach Reed Allison, and a lesson in humility for the Vikings. The sophs , 24-6.

Geneva fell behind early, primarily on some short Falcon passes converted to long runs. Wheaton North took a 31-0 lead with 5:09 left in the half on a fourth-down completion to runningback Dom Garza.
Geneva scored with 1:02 showing in the third quarter on a 1-yard plunge by quarterback Dan Santacaterina.

The Falcons' defense was impressive, as well, holding Geneva to 24 rushing yards.
