It's been a very good season for Geneva's sophomore football team, which racked up a 6-3 overall record, captured an Upstate Eight Conference River Division title, won some close games and trounced some teams along the way.
Friday night at Streamwood was no exception, as the Vikings rolled to a 56-8 halftime lead and a 56-14 win.
Geneva scored 35 unanswered points in the first quarter and led 56-0 until the Sabres scored on a 30-yard pass play with 24 seconds left in the half.
