Girls Volleyball: Geneva Still Undefeated in Upstate Eight
The Vikings beat Streamwood in straight sets, improve season record to 15-6 overall, 4-0 in the UEC.
The Vikings had a victorious performance against Streamwood, winning the match in two. Streamwood couldn’t hit past Geneva’s defense as Kelly Dalheim led the team with 15 digs and Hannah Buck followed with 12 digs for the match.
Jess Wicinski played a great game as she came out swinging aggressively against the Sabres. J.Wicinski added 5 kills for the Vikings as Buck led the team with 8 kills.
After a thriving performance in game one, Geneva struggled as Streamwood caught the momentum early in game two. The Vikings put a stop to the Sabres andfinished the match through great defense.

The Vikings play in the St. Charles East Mizuno Cup on Friday, Oct. 5, and Saturday, Oct. 6.
