Geneva's Eric Young Wins His 2nd Criterium National Championship
The 2007 Geneva High School grad takes home his second professional national championship in three years.
It wasn't enough for Geneva's Eric Young to win the USA Cycling Professional Criterium National Championship in 2011. He had to do it again, and he did, on July 27 in High Point, NC.
Young, 24, topped the professional men's podium of the 2013 USA Cycling Professional Criterium National Championships, defeating defending national champion Ken Hanson of Santa Barbara, CA. Jacob Keough of Sandwich, MA, collected the bronze medal, according to USAcylcing.org.
Young is a 2007 graduate of Geneva High School. He now lives in Boulder, CO, and races for Team Optum sponsored by Kelly Benefit Strategies.
