Vikings Coast to 69-55 Win Over Quincy on Hall of Fame Night
Led by Nate Navigato's 23 points, Geneva wins a non-conference matchup in front of the 1963 team celebrating the 50th anniversary of its trip to the Elite Eight.
The 2013 edition of the Geneva Viking might or might not match the feat of the 1963 team honored Saturday night, but the Vikings made short work of Quincy, cruising to a 69-55 win.
The Vikings used a size advantage and a deeper bench to take a 12-10 lead after the first quarter and a 29-20 lead at the half.
Geneva survived a 10-pont scoring barrage by Cole Abbey, who finished with 16. Martin Kivtle also had 16 and Mason Fairley 15.
