Geneva Volleyball Team Defeats Elgin in First Conference Match
The Vikings will play on their home court against DeKalb on Thursday, Sept. 12.

The Geneva Vikings took control over the match against Elgin winning quickly
in two sets, 25-13, 25-12 Tuesday night. Hannah Lanasa played consistent and strong with a total of 6 kills for the
Vikings.
Courtney Caruso ran a successful offense gaining 10 assists and did a
good job mixing up the sets to get everyone involved. Caruso kept the momentum going with her tough serves and offensively the Vikings were solid.
Ally Barrett stepped up and gained 5 kills against Elgin. The Vikings dominated throughout the match with the help of Kelsey Wicinski’s outstanding defense. Wicinski refused to let a ball drop, guiding her to a total of 14 digs for the match.
The Vikings will play on their home court against DeKalb on Thursday, Sept. 12.
