Geneva Volleyball Beats St. Charles North in Straight Sets
The Vikings win two close games, 25-22, 25-23, improving overall record to 11-6 and 3-0 in the Upstate Eight River Division.
The Vikings traveled to St. Charles North with fire in their eyes.
Everyone stepped on that court and played with passion. Hannah Lanasa played well, leading in kills with a total of 11 and Hannah Buck followed close behind with 9 kills for Geneva. Kelly Dalheim had aggressive defense gaining 21 digs for the team against St. Charles North.
Geneva kept the momentum during most of match with their unstoppable defense that backed up the hitters in coverage. Following behind Dalheim, Kelsey Wicinski and Buck each had 7 digs and Maddie Courter led the team with 4 blocks.

Finally, Sammy Gola ran a smart offense and totaled 11 assists with the help of Geneva's in-system passing. The Vikings play against South Elgin on Thursday, Sept. 20.
