Geneva Girls Basketball Loses to Marian Catholic in Third-Place Game at State

The Geneva High School girls varsity basketball team traveled to the state tournament this past weekend in Normal. 

The team lost in their first game Friday in the Class 4A semifinals against Rolling Meadows, 51-43, according to the IHSA website. Geneva lost again on Saturday in the third-place game against Marian Catholic, 45-34, according to the IHSA. 

Chicago (Whitney Young) won the Class 4A state championship title against Rolling Meadows, 60-44, according to the IHSA.
