In the end, the clock was running for most of the second half, as Geneva wins easily at St. Charles North.

The second half started much as the . It was a walkaway win for Geneva, as the Vikings tacked on 30 points to the 27-7 halftime lead.

"This was actually a tough game," coach Rob Wicinski said. "But I was really happy the way our kids came in and did what they were supposed to and took care of business."

And you hate to say it, but this sets up a showdown next week, when undefeated Batavia comes to Burgess Field.
