Basketball Bonanza: Annual Turkey Shoot and HOT Hoops PIG Competition

Join the Geneva Park District for Basketball Bonanza on Nov. 20 at the , 3507 Kaneville Road. The basketball tournament will feature two different tournaments for children school aged 3rd through 8th grade.

Make the most baskets in the Annual Turkey Shoot and win a turkey for your Thanksgiving dinner! Each child in the family may compete once with a parent or guardian 18 years or older. Each child will get at least two chances to play. Cost is per adult/child team. Pre-registration is required. The cost is $10 per adult/child. This event will be held on Nov. 20 from 1 to 1:45 pm for 3rd and 4th grade participants, 1:50 to 2:35 for 5th and 6th grade participants and 2:45 to 3:30 pm for 7th and 8th grade participants.

If you loved playing the “old school” classic game of P-I-G in the driveway, then come out and show off your moves at the HOT Hoops “P-I-G” Tournament. It will be a double elimination tournament. Please note: boys and girls will be placed in separate categories unless registration numbers warrant combining the groups. Cost is $10 for residents and $15 for non-residents. Pre-registration is required. This event will be held from 1:30 to 2 pm for 3rd and 4th grade participants, 2:30 to 3 pm for 5th and 6th grade participants and 3:30 to 4 pm for 7th and 8th grade participants.
