Pizza Palooza is part of the Red Ribbon Week festivities, which encourage young people to make smart choices and avoid drug use. The city of Geneva, Geneva School District and Geneva Park District support the event, as do local clubs and organizations such as Students Against Drunken Driving (SADD) and Geneva Coalition for Youth. The pizza party is free, but reservations are required.
