36th Annual Corn Boil Is Tonight (Aug. 22, 2012) at New Burgess Field!

The 36th annual Geneva Corn Boil—like the 35 previous versions—is the not-to-be-missed opener for the Geneva High School sports season.

It's also the first big introduction of the .

Introductions of all the players from the various sports, marching band members, cheerleaders and pom squads are part of the ceremonies.

The band performs and the annual corn-eating contest is a test of masticating skills.

Food is terrific from the concession stand, and as of 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 22, the weather looks good.

The Geneva All-Sports Boosters are the annual hosts.
