Kane County Cougars Introduce New Live Ticketing System

New for the 2012 season, Kane County Cougars fans can also experience a new ticketing function through kccougars.com.

With the start of the calendar year, three months remain until the 2012 season for the. Season tickets, ticket packages, group outings as well as single-game tickets are all on sale for the 22nd season of Cougars baseball with the home opener set for Monday, April 9 at 1 p.m. at .

Fans can visit kccougars.com for a complete promotional calendar with theme nights, promotional giveaways, weeknight ticket specials and much more.

New for the 2012 season, fans can also experience a new function through kccougars.com. When purchasing tickets online, fans can now enjoy live ticketing system software that allows them to select specific seats and print their tickets from home. Those tickets will be scanned at the stadium gates by a Cougars usher before entering Fifth Third Bank Ballpark this season.

Season ticket holders also have the option of carrying a year-long Cougars FanCard (similar in size to a gift card) that can be scanned for all 70 home games. Cougars season ticket holders also have access to an online account that easily allows them to forward their tickets to friends and family for use via e-mail.

“This technology will greatly enhance the ticket-ordering experience for our fans,” said Amy Mason, Cougars Director of Ticket Services. “We think that fans will enjoy the fact that they can place a ticket order from the comfort of their home, select specific seats that they prefer such as seats located on an aisle, and print the tickets right from their computer.”

Fans can learn more at kccougars.com about the following opportunities, including group outings and year-round events at the ballpark.

SEASON TICKETS. A 20 percent discount off the normal ticket price, season ticket holders receive the same seats for 70 regular season home games, as well as numerous perks throughout the calendar year such as throwing a ceremonial first pitch, a gift on Opening Day, and more.

TICKET PACKAGES. Packages start at five games and similar to season tickets, give fans the same seats for each game within their package. All ticket packages include games which feature post-game fireworks shows as well as appearances by special entertainment acts.

GROUP OUTINGS. Perfect for all types and sizes of groups, the Cougars can accommodate parties ranging from 15 to 2,000 people. Options include nightly suite rentals, catered events underneath a picnic tent, outfield patio, or an event held upstairs in the Super Suite banquet area, or a rooftop patio along the base line.

GROUP FUNDRAISERS. Whether it’s a little league group, church, or any type of organization or club, the Cougars offer the perfect place for a group event that can double as a fundraiser. Several half-price nights as well as $2 nights, are on the 2012 schedule.

YEAR-ROUND RENTALS. The Cougars can accommodate nearly any type of catered event upstairs on the Fifth Third Bank Ballpark upper deck level, inclusive of family parties, breakfast meetings, trade shows, and everything in between. The upper deck also includes a full-scale conference center with internet access and teleconferencing capabilities.
