Why Are All Those Kids Running Around on a School Day?
We've got teacher institute days and finals, and then there's Martin Luther King Day on Monday.
If you're wondering why you see kids of all ages in the afternoon this week, it's because of Teacher Institute days for Geneva grade schools, School Improvement days for the middle schools and final exams for Geneva High School.
It's a half day for grade school students of School District 304, and there's no kindergarten classes on Friday, Jan 17. Early dismissal is at around 11:20 a.m.
Plus, there's Martin Luther King Day on Monday and there is no school, so we'll be seeing more young people out and about.
