Sister Soleil Shooting Anti-Bully Video Aug. 25 at Geneva High School

Lead singer of Chicago group Sister Soleil is leading an effort to shoot an anti-bullying music video in Geneva on Aug. 25 and 26 at the high school.

will be the stage for a rock video by Sister Soleil lead singer and other artists that has a strong anti-bullying message.

"We have finished recording and mixing our new Stand for the Silence single," Katsoudas says in a video on the Sister Soleil Facebook page. "We're planning a big music video shoot in Geneva at the end of August. It's going to be a lot of fun. We have a huge crew, and everybody's donating their time. So I'm very excited about it."

Geneva Principal Tom Rogers gave his blessing to the video, and Katsoudas is hoping to recruit students who can take part in filming. If you're interested, you can contact Katsoudas on her personal Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/stella.katsoudas.

It sounds like Slipknot drummer Shawn “Clown” Crahan also is planning to participate.

"We need 30 to 40 kids, and if you are interested in participating, it will be a lot of fun. It will probably be a good five-hour shoot. It's going to be a good-budget video. If you're interested or have a child whose interested—we're even asking bullies who have stopped bullying and realize that they could be doing good instead of what they've been doing. They're invited to particpate, as well."

An article in the Kane County Chronicle says the video will be shot over two days: Aug. 25 and Aug. 26.
