1. POST AN EVENT!

Maybe the easiest way to get the word out on your Homecoming or reunion activitites—in addition of Facebook and other social media—is to POST THE EVENTS ON GENEVA PATCH!

Do you have a 10-year, 15-year, 25-year, 35-year, 50-year reunion coming? Post your event so that others know when and where to show up. Include a photo and send me an e-mail at rickn@patch.com, and I'll make sure your event gets prime real estate on the home page.

Hover the cursor over the "Events" tab, then "Add an Event."

2. POST AN ANNOUNCEMENT!

Maybe someone you know or love was named Homecoming queen.

Or perhaps someone from the class of 1977 traveled from Cucamongo to get to your reunion event.

You get the idea. Remember to send rickn@patch.com a note so I can give it some proper attention.

Announcement categories include "Thank You," "Social Notes," "Births," "Death Notices," "Engagements," "Weddings," "Honor Roll," "School Awards," "Volunteer Notes," "Promotion" and much more—all FREE—so keep up with what your friends are doing through Geneva Patch.

Hover the cursor over "Announcements," then click "Announce Something."

3. POST PICTURES AND VIDEO!

OK, maybe you don't want that picture of your felllow alumni wearing a lampshade on his head. But you do want to share the photo story of your reunion with the rest of the world. Add photos to "Geneva Pics & Clips." Then email Rick at rickn@patch.com, and he'll feature it for you.

You can add videos and YouTube videos, as well.

4. WRITE A CLASS OF XYZ BLOG!

If you'd like to keep up with your friends from high school, how about a Geneva Patch blog? Just hover the cursor over "Blogs" and click "Blog on Patch!"

5. FOLLOW THE HOMECOMING STORIES

Click on "Keep me posted" at the end of this story, and you'll get followup notices when there's a story update.

6. "LIKE" GENEVA PATCH'S FACEBOOK PAGE

Go to the Geneva Patch Facebook page and click the Like button that appears next to the Page name (under the green "P" at right of the feature photo.)

7. JUST SEND RICK AN E-MAIL

If any of this seems too much trouble, e-mail rickn@patch.com or call Rick at 630-886-0792.

In the meantime, here are some photos from last year's Homecoming, just to get you in the mood.
