School District 304 Will Test Emergency School-To-Parent E-Mail and Phone Service at 3 PM Sunday
It's called InTouch, and you need to make sure the School District has your most up-to-date contact information. If you're a parent of a District 304 child, you will get a test at 3 p.m. Sunday.
At 3 p.m. Sunday, Geneva School District 304 send a test e-mail and voice message to the parent or guardian of every student in Geneva public schools.
The district is implementing a new school-to-parent communication service called InTouch by EduLink which allows district officials to deliver time-sensitive emergency information to parents and staff in a matter of minutes via phone and email.
InTouch will send automated phone calls and e-mails to parents, legal guardians and staff regarding unplanned school closings due to inclement weather as well as any other emergency situation that may arise.

In order for you to receive these important messages, it is imperative that the School District has all parents' most current contact information. InTouch will be able to send an emergency call to your home phone, cell phone and to your e-mail provided the district has your most up-to-date contact information.
Geneva School District will test the notification system for parents and legal guardians at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 23.
The voice message will be delivered to your primary phone number using a “Text-to-Speech” feature, so the voice you hear may seem a bit unnatural but words should be clearly understood.

This particular test notification has been configured to leave a message on an answering machine / voice mail service. In addition, the e-mail message will be sent from a generic Geneva Admin e-mail address—and this e-mail address is configured to not accept reply e-mails.
If you do not receive a test alert on Oct. 23, it means that Geneva School District does not have your most current contact information.
Please contact your child’s school office if you need to update your phone number or e-mail address.
