School District 304: Geneva ACT Scores Break 24 for Second Straight Year
This just in: Graduated seniors from the class of 2011 have composite ACT score of 24.1.

In a continuation of the success that Geneva High School’s students traditionally display on the ACT, Geneva’s graduating class of 2011 achieved an average ACT composite score of 24.1, according to numbers released today by ACT.
The average composite score for 2011 graduates statewide is 20.9.
“We are very proud of our students for achieving these high scores,” said Supt. Dr. Kent Mutchler. “We are also very thankful to our staff and parents for the value that they place on education in Geneva and for their caring work to help our students succeed.”

The ACT is a college-readiness exam given to every Illinois high school student as part of the Prairie State Achievement Exam, regardless of post-high school plans. The ACT tests students in English, math, reading and science.
