Fabyan Elementary 1st-Graders Say Happy Birthday to Dr. Seuss

Fabyan Elementary School first-graders say the darnedest things ... about Thing 1 and Thing 2 in celebration of Dr. Seuss' birthday.

Would you let them in your house? Would you let them meet your mouse?

What would you do if those crazy Cat in the Hat characters Thing 1 and Thing 2 knocked on your door? 

In celebration of Dr. Seuss' birthday on March 7, Fabyan Elementary School first-graders wrote about it. Here's what they had to say, courtesy of the Fabyan Facts newsletter:

If Thing 1 and Thing 2 came to my house ...

"I would let Thing 1 and Thing 2 play football in the basement with a Styrofoam football." By: Colin J.

"I would let them flood my house. We would swim in my house. My mom would be happy. It would be fun." By: Jack M.

"I would put them on my dog and we would watch them run around. My dog would go crazy." By: Henry H.
