Photo Gallery: Pep Rally for GHS Homecoming 2012

Homecoming is where the heart is for Geneva High School 2012.

From the Harrison Street School victory in the annual grade-schools cheering contest to the announcement of the 2012 Homecoming court, Thursday night's pep rally at Burgess Field was a special time for everyone in attendance.

The festivities started with a 1-0 victory by the varsity soccer team over Elgin. It continued with performances by the marching band, jazz choir, dance and cheerleading teams, announcements of window decorating winners, recognition of all the fall sports teams and finished with the presentation of 2012 Homecoming royalty.

Geneva High School Principal Tom Rogers, dressed a costume that defies description, was the master of ceremonies on an evening that was dampened by light rain but fully charged with Homecoming spirit.
