Help Geneva Summer Camp 'MacGyvers' With Up-Cyclables

Talk about a win-win. You can get rid of stuff and really help Geneva kids learn science.

Necessity is the mother of invention, they say, and you can help science campers invent things this summer and help Mother Nature at the same time.

Camp Invention is asking residents to share their stuff—purge might be a more appropriate term—by donating materials that your MacGyver-like kids can re-use.

In order to create outstanding machines during Camp Invention week, campers will need a wide assortment of items to disassemble, pick through, and choose from.

A list of acceptable needed “upcyclables” and used technical pieces is attached.  If you have any of these items that you no longer need, please consider dropping them off at .

Starting this Friday, items will be collected in the large boxes located in the front hallway.  Collections will continue until June 7.
