Geneva Schools Closed Tuesday

The extreme cold and concerns about safety have led to a second day of public school closings in Geneva.
"Geneva School District schools, will remain closed Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014, due to extreme weather conditions. Please monitor the district website, for any additional information," School District 304 said in an email around noon Monday.
District 304 notifies the legal guardians of all students through use of Geneva School District’s emergency notification system. The system calls the guardian’s primary and mobile phone numbers and send a message to the guardian’s email address, provided that current phone and email information is on file in the District’s student information database.
In addition, school cancellation and late start notifications are tweeted to the district’s @Geneva304 Twitter account followers, posted on Geneva School District’s website and emailed to all 304 Connects subscribers.
Families may also call the District’s Administrative Offices – (630) 463-3001 – to hear a recorded telephone message concerning school closings and late starts.
