Geneva School District to Honor This Year's Retirees at Open House

The open house will be held on Thursday at the Geneva Middle School South cafeteria. The public is welcome to attend.

The following information comes from a Geneva School District press release. 

All are welcome to attend an open house celebrating this year’s many retirees from Geneva School District. 

Geneva School District’s 7th Annual Retirement Open House will be held Thursday, May 8, in the Geneva Middle School South cafeteria, 1415 Viking Drive.  A “drop-in” reception will be held from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. followed by a brief recognition ceremony from 4:30 to 4:45 p.m.

  • Theresa Brems, Physical Education Teacher at Harrison and Western Avenue Elementary Schools
  • Pam Burgeson, Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent at the District Office
  • Heather Carlson, Third Grade Teacher at Harrison Street Elementary School
  • Madonna Erickson, Second Grade Teacher at Harrison Street Elementary School
  • Suzanne Kautz, General Music Teacher at Western Avenue and Fabyan Elementary Schools
  • Nancy Lindenmuth, Administrative Assistant in the Athletic Office at Geneva High School
  • Robert McElligott, Director of Transportation
  • Christine McKechnie, Language Arts Teacher at Geneva Middle School North
  • Linda Sikora, Administrative Assistant in the Main Office at Geneva Middle School North
  • Frances Tesch-Golz, Librarian at Western Avenue Elementary School
  • Cathleen Wallin, Psychologist at Friendship Station and Western Avenue Elementary School 

This is a great opportunity for our District staff and students, our community, and the family/friends of our retirees to say “thanks” and “good luck” to those who have served our District so well for so many years.
