Fire Alarm Tripped Tuesday at GMS South
"All students and staff who were in the building followed appropriate procedures and exited the building."
There was no fire, everyone is OK, but there was an evacuation of Geneva Middle School South on Tuesday afternoon.
At 4 p.m., the fire alarm was tripped by what appears to be a dirty fire detector, Principal Terry Bleau said in a 302Connects email.
"All students and staff who were in the building followed appropriate procedures and exited the building. The Fire Department responded accordingly and helped to affirm the building was safe," Bleau said.
