Geneva Township Assessor, Denise LaCure, is sponsoring two informative property tax seminars with the hosting assistance of Sheri McMurray, director ofthe Geneva Senior Center.
Mark Armstrong, Kane County Supervisor of Assessments, will present both seminars.
“Property Tax Assessments from a Senior Tax Payer’s Perspective” will beheld at 10 a.m. on June 14. It will focus on issues and exemptions forsenior citizens. Armstrong’s support staff will also be there to help determineif you are receiving the exemptions for which you qualify.

“Property Tax Assessments in a Changing Economy” will be held at 6 p.m. on the same day, June 14. It will address five major issues and someof the misunderstandings about property assessments.
The seminars will be held at the Geneva Township Office and Senior Center (Enter off of Stevens Street), 400 Wheeler Park, Geneva, IL
