Geneva History Center to Host Lecture about the Past, Present and Future of Downtown Geneva

The Geneva History Center will host a special lecture, titled The Past, Present and Future of Downtown Geneva on Tuesday, November 9 at Noon.  A panel of experts will talk about downtown Geneva's rich history, current opportunities and challenges, and the plans for future growth and development.  Geneva resident and local history expert Jamie Daniel will discuss the past of downtown Geneva, Geneva Mayor Kevin Burns will talk about the present and Dick Untch, Director of Community Development for the City of Geneva will discuss the future, including the ongoing master planning process for downtown. 

This lecture is part of the Geneva History Center's Brown Bag lecture series.  Attendees are encouraged to bring a lunch.  Cookies and coffee are provided.  Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for Geneva History Center members and students.  The Geneva History Center is located at 113 South Third Street, in the heart of Geneva's downtown historic district.  For more information, call the Geneva History Center at 630-232-4951.
