Bullying, Cyberbullying and Youth Depression

Geneva parents are invited to a presentation by John Halligan on Bullying, Cyberbullying, and Youth Depression.

Halligan will relay his own experience as a dad whose 13-year-old son took his own life in 2003 after being bullied by classmates at school and online. He will also cover the lessons his family learned too late regarding how to deal with bullying, cyberbullying and teen depression, and parents will be presented with strategies to take preventive actions with their own children.

Geneva School District is committed to raising awareness about bullying and cyberbullying with students and parents. Anyone interested is welcome to attend.
