Encore! The Band Plays On Saturday at Burgess Field
The Geneva High School marching band is one of the halftime and pregame treats at football games, and with the playoffs coming, they'll have one more chance to perform. There's a photo essay from the past season.
The Geneva Community High School marching band has been on the field four times this season, due in part to some terrific fall weather that's allowed Burgess Field to stay playable.
The band is a special part of the community's pregame and halftime celebrations, and will have one more chance to perform Saturday, as the Vikings play host to Oak Forest in the first round of the IHSA Class 6A playoffs.
We've gathered a lot of band photos in the past few weeks, and with apologies for not having caption identification, Geneva Patch is happy to present this photo essay, courtesy of Kurt Wehrmeister, Terence Guider-Shaw and Rick Nagel.
