District 304 Welcomes Molly Lindsey to Geneva Middle School South

The Geneva Patch is excited to introduce Patch readers to a few new teachers in District 304.

Meet Molly Lindsey of Downers Grove who has joined the team of amazing teachers this year.

I teach eighth-grade language arts at Geneva Middle School South.

How long have you been teaching?

This is my fifth year at the middle level, and I have previous secondary and adult education experience as well.

Why did you decide to become a teacher? Did any particular person or experience influence your decision?

I have always loved working with kids and find middle school students to be particularly inquisitive and creative.

Are you a resident of Geneva?

I grew up in Downers Grove, but I have always loved Geneva, and was married here at Riverside Receptions in 2008.

What is the best part about teaching for you?

The students. They are fun and make every day different and interesting.

When you are not teaching, what is your favorite thing to do?

I love music and play several instruments. 

Who inspires you?

My husband. He is incredibly smart and motivated.

What are you most looking forward to about this school year?

Getting to know the students and staff better. 

Interesting fact about Molly: I am an animal lover and love spending time with my two dogs.
