UPDATE: Local Teen Injured in Campton Hills Crash is Recovering

Family members have told police a 15-year-old girl who was seriously injured last week in a crash in Campton Hills is recovering at a hospital, according to the Kane County Chronicle. 

The teen was initially taken to Delnor Hospital in Geneva following the crash and was later flown to Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove in critical condition, according to the article. A man injured in the crash, Jose Alvarado of Oswego, was listed in fair condition Monday.

ORIGINAL ARTICLE: Three people were injured during a two-vehicle rollover crash at Route 64 and Dean Street near St. Charles about 8 p.m. Thursday, according to the Daily Herald. 

Police said the accident happenedwhen a 2007 Chevrolet Aveo drove through a stop sign on Dean Street and was hit by a full-size van that was traveling east on Route 64, according to the Kane County Chronicle. 

The driver of the Aveo, Sarah Lundgren, 29, of Streamwood, was taken to Delnor Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries while a passenger in her car, a 15-year-old girl, and the driver of the van, Jose Alvarado of Oswego, were taken to Delnor and then flown to another hospital in critical condition, according to the article.
