A WINTER STORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY EVENING THROUGH SUNDAY AFTERNOON... WHILE THE FREEZING PRECIPITATION HAS ENDED ANY UNTREATED SURFACES WILL CONTINUE TO BE VERY SLIPPERY DUE TO THE THIN GLAZE OF ICE. TRAVELERS ARE ADVISED TO BE ON THE WATCH FOR ICE COVERED SURFACE.
Timing
On Saturday and Sunday, the potential exists for significant snow and sleet accumulation due to a second storm system.
Impact
Obviously, the ice will make roads and sidewalks dangerously slippery Friday and Saturday.
On Saturday and Sunday, the snow could be mixed with more freezing rain, producing another glaze of ice on Saturday, and even-more slippery conditions.
