Route 25 Closure in St. Charles Extended to Aug. 27
IDOT expects to reopen highway just south of Fox Glen Drive on Aug. 27, after completion of the Norton Creek culvert repairs.
The Illinois Department of Transportation says Route 25 just south of Fox Glen Drive will continue to be closed for another week while repairs continue to a culvert at Norton Creek.
The road is anticipated to reopen Aug. 27. The extension accommodates an increased scope of work for the repairs. Motorists should use alternate routes or follow the posted detour route during the closure.
