March Events Through the Geneva Park District

Here is a look at events that will be offered in March through the Geneva Park District: 

FREE! Creative Celebration Art Show

Enjoy a variety of work from Peg Boehm’s classes at the annual Creative Celebration Art Show, Friday, March 7 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Stephen D. Persinger Recreation Center3507 Kaneville Rd.Geneva.

All students are welcome to exhibit work. Past students wishing to display artwork must notify Peg. Please deliver art to Geneva Park District’s art room no later than Thursday, March 6 at 1 p.m. All art pieces must be picked up by Thursday, March 20 at 5 p.m.

Geneva Park District is currently holding over 20 years of unclaimed student artwork. Any artwork remaining unclaimed byFriday, February 28 will be sold at the Creative Celebration Art Show. All proceeds will benefit the art show fund.

Mom & Son Night

Share a special night with your little guy at Geneva Park District’s annual Mom & Son Night, Saturday, March 15 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Geneva High School416 McKinley Ave.Geneva. Boys ages 4-12 and their mothers will enjoy entertainment, dancing, activities and snacks. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for check-in and pictures. All couples will receive a keepsake photograph.

FREE! Heritage Day

Experience what life was like at Peck Farm before it became a park at Heritage Day, Saturday, March 22 from 11 am to 3 p.m.Enjoy sheep herding demos, candle dipping, butter making, cow milking, basket weaving, traditional lawn games and more at this free, family-friendly event.
