Genevans Can Put Leaves in Bags for Free Collection Through Dec. 28

Save your yellow stickers! The free-bag program is under way and good through Dec. 28.

The city of Geneva's curbside vacuum leaf collection program has concluded for the season, but residents with leaves in their yard can still have them picked up for free through Saturday, Dec. 28.

Leaves must be placed in paper yard waste bags, which should be set at the curb on residents' scheduled garbage collection day. Advanced Disposal, the City's refuse contractor, will pick up the bags weekly through Dec. 28.

Refuse stickers are not required to dispose of leaves as part of this program.

The paper bags should be filled only with leaves. No grass or other yard waste can be mixed with the leaves.
