Genevans Can Put Leaves in Bags for Free Collection Through Dec. 28

Save your yellow stickers! The free-bag program is under way and good through Dec. 28.

The city of Geneva's curbside vacuum leaf collection program has concluded for the season, but residents with leaves in their yard can still have them picked up for free through Saturday, Dec. 28.

Leaves must be placed in paper yard waste bags, which should be set at the curb on residents' scheduled garbage collection day. Advanced Disposal, the City's refuse contractor, will pick up the bags weekly through Dec. 28.

Refuse stickers are not required to dispose of leaves as part of this program.

The paper bags should be filled only with leaves. No grass or other yard waste can be mixed with the leaves.

Nice! We put out 4 lawn bags full of leaves before Nov 30 since it was the last day for pick up. I wasted 4 yellow stickers!. It would be nice for new people in the area if they were sent a schedule how the Geneva waste, grass, tree limbs and leaf pick up worked. Is this something they do every year around here? So irritating
