Geneva Will Pick Up Flood-Damaged Refuse—Free of Charge

If you have flood-damaged items, you can put them on the curb without a sticker on collection day. You'll still need a sticker for regular refuse.

City of Geneva residents who have flood-damaged items for refuse will be allowed to put those items out on their regular collection day this week only —without a sticker.

Regular trash will still need a refuse sticker.

Residents must have the flood damaged items out at the curb no later than 7 a.m. on their regular collection day. Crews will not return if the items were placed out after initial collection, and no additional special collections are scheduled.
