Flushing willbe performed from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Watch your laundering times to avoid staining.

Beginning Monday, Oct. 1, 2012, the city of Geneva Water Department will begin its semi-annual fire hydrant flushing program.

The flushing willbe performed from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday and will continue until all of the hydrants throughout the city have been flushed—probably about four weeks.

Residents are urged to refrain from laundering during this time period to avoid staining.
