Kane County Used Motor Oil Collection

Used motor oil can be recycled at the Kane County Highway Garage at Burlington and Empire Roads, west of St. Charles.

There's no quantity or limit to the amount of used motor oil and drained oil filters also are accepted.

The Kane County Farm Bureau and Kane-DuPage Soil & Water Conservation District co-sponsor the effort.

Since 1994, 13,500 Kane County residents, farmers, and small businesses have recycled some 187,000 gallons of used oil and 31,000 filters at 66 drop-off days.
