Geneva Historic Preservation Commission

Geneva's Historic Preservation Commission reviews building permits, historic preservation ordinances, design guidelines, development proposals and other items of business that effect Geneva's historic districts.

Geneva's Historic Preservation Strategic Plan states:

" 'Historic Preservation is not an end itself—it is a means to improve or maintain a city's quality of life.' This quotation aptly portrays why we all live in the city of Geneva, and why we have an Historic Preservation Commission and Ordinance."
