City Says Thanks to Former Board Members, Welcomes Re-Appointments

Community servants earn city thanks.

City Council members are on Channel 10 a lot, and they take a lot of heat at times, and it's not easy job.

But there's also another level of public servant—the kind that doesn't have to go through the election process, but just volunteers time and thought and energy to help the city make good, informed decisions.

City government doesn't work nearly so well without the citizen board member. And so, here's a quick salute to people who served and are leaving—as well as those who re-upped.
