Young Male Stomps Playground at Western Avenue School
A witness spots a young male damaging the playground at Western Avenue School by smashing a 10- by 12-inch hole with the heel of his shoe.
A young male was seen stomping on the rubber surface of the playground at Western Avenue School, 710 Western Ave., repeatedly striking it until he punctured a 10- by 12-inch hole.
A witness told police that she was visiting the playground with her children around 1:40 p.m. April 2 when she saw the young male repeatedly strike the surface in the southeast corner of the playground with the heel of his shoe.
Damage was estimated at less than $300.
