Woman Injured Falling Off Back of Motorcycle in Geneva
Motorcycle traveling up to 50 mph when it hits a bump and passenger flies off, police reports say.
A 23-year-old Aurora woman was injured when she fell off the back of an eastbound motorcycle in the 1800 block of East State Street about a half-mile east of Kirk Road around 8:25 p.m. June 9, reports said.
According to reports, Nicole K. Lorenzini was riding on the back of a Kawasaki ZX100E motorcycle driven by Robert Jacobs, 25, of Aurora when she fell off the back.
Jacobs told police that one minute Lorenzini was there and the next she was gone. He said the motorcycle was travelling 45 to 50 mph at the time Lorenzini fell off.

Lorenzini stated that she was holding onto the gas tank when the motorcycle hit a bump. She lost her grip and fell off, “rolling numerous times on the ground,” the report said.
A friend, Steven Shiparski, was riding behind the couple and saw Lorenzini on the ground but did not see her fall. Lorenzini was not wearing protective gear. She was taken to Delnor Hospital by Medic 251.
