Woman Charged With Domestic Battery After Punching Victim With Closed Fist

Geneva police arrested Julie Lawson, 36, of Geneva on charges of domestic battery bodily harm to a family member and insulting or provoking contact after incidents at around 10:30 p.m. and 10:50 p.m. Oct. 29, reports said.
According to reports, Lawson punched the victim in the left eye with a closed fist, causing redness and swelling around the left eye.
The report did not include a court date.
