White Paint Balls Hit Blue Car on Diane Court

Police blotter: White paint balls connect with blue car on Diane Court, a theft from a purse at the high school and obstructing justice among the items collected from the Geneva reports.

Here are three recent items collected from Geneva police reports:

Obstructing Justice—Police charged Israel Magallenes of West Chicago with obstructing justice, driving with an uninsured motor vehicle and driving with a suspended license Sept. 8, after a traffic stop at the 700 block of West State Street. Police reports said Magallenes knowingly furnished a false name and false date of birth.

Diane Court Vandalism—Someone threw paint on a car in the 300 block of Diane Court sometime between 9:30 p.m. Sept. 7 and 5:30 a.m. Sept. 8, police reports said. Police said the blue Nissan Rogue had been shot with several white paint balls. Reports said the owner was able to wash off the paint.

Theft at High School—Someone took an IPOD Touch from a student's purse at Geneva Community High School sometime between 7:40 a.m. and 2:45 p.m. Sept. 3, reports said. Reports said the student had the purse with her during the entire day and believes it was removed during one of her classes. The IPOD is valued at more than $300.
