Warrant Out for St. Charles Teen Suspected of Geneva Car Burglaries
Malibu Barstow of St. Charles is facing 10 counts of burglary and six counts of criminal damage to property.
Geneva police have a warrant out on an 18-year-old from St. Charles suspected of burglarizing a number of Geneva vehicles in July.
According to court records, Malibu Barstow of St. Charles is facing 10 counts of burglary and six counts of criminal damage to property less than $300. The charges were filed Oct. 28.
Barstow is charged with burglarizing vehicles in the 1100 block of East State Street during the month of July, according to an article in the Daily Herald. The article says Geneva police were put on Barstow's trail after they discovered items taken during the car thefts were sold at a Warrenville pawn shop.
The Daily Herald reports that Barstow also was charged with residential burglaries in Elgin and possession of a controlled substance in St. Charles.
