Two Chain-Reaction Collisions on Slippery Dec. 17

Friday was miserable driving, and the proof is in both the number of total accidents reported by the Geneva Police Department and in the pair of three-car collisions on that day.

In a separate story on Geneva Patch later today, you'll see more evidence of the number of accidents that happened in the wake of snow and ice storms of the past week.

Among the accidents are a pair of three-car collisions, each a little after 5 p.m. on Geneva's busiest roads.

Three-Car Collision Sends One Person to Delnor—Jessica Greenway of Blue Island was transported to Delnor Hospital after a three-car collision around 5:05 p.m. Dec. 17 in the 300 block of East Fabyan Parkway (County Highway 8) near Thoria Road, reports said.
