Train Stopped Near Randall and Peck Roads—Police Investigating

Geneva police and fire officials are in the area of Peck and Keslinger Road, investigating a stopped train and searching for a person on foot.

Tri-Com dispatchers have sent Geneva police and fire personnel to the area of Keslinger and Peck Road, where a Union Pacific train is stopped and officers apparently are searching for a person on foot.

The first announcements came at around 8:45 a.m. Tuesday, May 28. There is no indication at this time if traffic is being held up.

Union Pacific personnel have contacted the central office to make sure other trains are aware of the stopped train.

There is no indication at this time whether the stopped train will affect commuter train traffic.
