Traffic Stop Leads to Marijuana Arrest

Geneva police arrested John Kent, 21, of Aurora on charges of possession of cannabis at around 12:28 a.m. Feb. 3 after a traffic stop in the 1900 block of South Kirk Road, Geneva police reports said.
According to the complaint in the 16th Circuit Court, Kent possessed marijuana in an amount greater than 2.5 grams and less than 10 grams. He has a court date of March 5 at the Kane County Branch Court, 530 S. Randall Road.
Kent also was cited for driving 46 mph in a 25 mph zone.
