Fire Extinguished in Townhouse on Lorraine Circle

Firefighter says no one hurt in fire in attached single-family home.

A house fire on Lorraine Circle in Geneva appears to be under control.

Firefighters reported to the fire a little after 7 p.m.

The fire was extinguished by 7:30 p.m. No one was injured and no one was home at the time, according to a firefighter on the scene.

Pools of water were in the street, and the outside of the townhouse appeared scorched, as you can see in the photos here.

Patch will provide more information as it becomes available.

wow, that was so freaky, i heard 2 loud bangs, and i found out that fire crackers were the start
